Thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes yesterday. Trouble had a very fun day and we are all excited for her party this weekend.
We have some friends visiting from out-of-town for a few days so I got to enjoy the rare luxury of grocery shopping all by myself today. I was even able to go to two stores, which is a rarity since usually after an hour at Publix with both kids I would pretty much rather drive off a cliff than go to one more store.
Going to Winn-Dixie meant a chance to take advantage of some of the smokin’ hot Fuel Perks deals this week & I discovered I had to sign up for a new “Fuel Parks” Winn-Dixie card to replace my old card. Historically I haven’t found Winn-Dixie to be quite as coupon-friendly as Publix, but today they were absolutely wonderful. The manager there was super nice & helpful, even when I bought the wrong Jello Temptations item and had to exchange them for the ones that were included in the sale. High marks to the Punta Gorda (Bermont) Winn-Dixe!
It turned out to be a very yogurt-centric shopping trip. My family is very accustomed to the “if it’s not on sale and we don’t have a coupon, we don’t buy it rule,” and Husband has never complained about our food selection. This week, however, he put in his first-ever request, that I buy some more Yoplait Fiber One, his favorite yogurt. Luckily for him (and for me) there were some coupons available even though it wasn’t–gasp–on sale! I also “splurged” and grabbed some Go-Gurt for the kids, but more for my benefit then for theirs–I don’t want them eating all my yummy Greek yogurt again!
Here is what I got:
At Winn-Dixie I spent $9.07 (after FuelPerks–$20.07 out-of-pocket) for $60.63 worth of groceries, a savings of 85%.

Ruth, Are you fuel perks at every Winn dixie? I have not seen them in my weekly add, I live in the Lakeland, FL area. Any idea what I need to do?

I was also wondering about the fuel perks. I live in Tampa. I never see anything about them?
Great trips this week. I stick to Winn Dixie and Publix. Walgreens for my drug store. I’ve gota Publix run I need to make this afternoon!

Fuel perks are still only at some locations. You can ask the manager when there store will be doing it. More request they get the sooner it is likely to happen

Help me out with some coupon math. (Seems to me like higher order calculus.)
On the Crystal light how do you use a B2G1 coupon and the $1/3 when you only ‘bought’ two? You don’t appear to ‘get one’ in this scenario.
