Happy Memorial Day!
I couldn’t resist popping in to Walgreens yesterday to take advantage of their fabulous 2 day sale (mostly because I was almost out of Reynolds Wrap!) There were a ton of freebies in this week’s ad, and while I ended up skipping many of them, I was happy to see everything in stock. In fact, the only thing that wasn’t available were the Ritz Crackerfuls. Evidently there was some sort of distribution issue, so the store I shopped at was substituting other Nabisco crackers instead.
Because I went to the store later in the day and I wasn’t sure what would be available, I decided to just wing it rather than plan out my transactions ahead of time. I didn’t end up doing too badly, but my trip was a little chaotic and I probably didn’t do quite as well as I could have, considering all the deals this week. If you are new to shopping at Walgreens, be sure to put some thought ahead of time into your transactions and fillers so you don’t have this problem!
I also stopped by CVS but all I ended up with was a raincheck!
Here is what I got:
At Walgreens I spent $12.73 for $78.80 worth of drugstore merchandise, a savings of 84%

This will be my last “regular” shopping trip for a while, as we are headed up to Washington State in a few days to spend some quality time with our friends & family. But don’t worry, I have some awesome things planned for LWSL while I am gone that I know you’re going to love. I’ll tell you all about it on Wednesday!

I too made the trek to walgreens on Sunday to find these great deals. My stores were out of Crackerfuls and Scott’s towels. But I was able to get deodorant, bodywash, foil and some Off clipon’s for cheap!
Have a great time in WA.
