Thrifty Thursday {Week 19}

Thrifty Thursday Linky Party at LivingWellSpendingLess.com!

Welcome back to Thrifty Thursday!   I am always excited to see what great budget-friendly blog posts you all have to share.  With the whole country sweltering this week, I’d especially love to see all your tips & ideas for staying cool and comfortable in the summer heat, as well as some great oven-free recipes!

Don’t forget to follow our  Thrifty Thursday @ LWSL Pinterest Board. It is a group board so if you would like to be added, just email me at Ruth@LivingWellSpendingLess.com for an invitation (be sure to include your Pinterest user name in the email.)

  1. Scroll down, find the little blue “Add your Link” Button and click on that.
  2. Follow the instructions on the next page – add a great image of your project and an interesting title. Make sure you link to the direct page of your budget friendly post – not the main page of your blog!
  3. Try to visit at least a few other blogs at the party. Be sure to leave a comment to let them know you stopped by!
  4. Finally, please link back to this post somehow. There are badges available here; a simple text link is just fine too.

That’s it! Feel free to tweet about Thrifty Thursday so others can join the fun, and don’t forget to check back here Sunday morning to see which posts have been featured this week!

Hi Ruth! I hope it is okay that I shared an “un-thrifty” post about the importance of Balance in Motherhood. Many people ask me how I handled the “Empty Nest” after my life revolving around my daughters for so long.
Truth is preparing for that day starts the moment you become a Mother. Hoping I can help other Moms by sharing my experience. : )
    Have a wonderful weekend!
    xoxo

Hi Ruth! This was the first time I linked to your party and I mistakenly added my link twice (#55 and 57). The first time I put my own name in the ‘Name’ section, instead of the name of my post. Hopefully it’s easy to delete the first one..I’m sorry to create extra work for you. Thank you for hosting the link party!

Thank you for hosting. I am number 86 — We Can’t Live on What We’ve Got.
A lot of of us are thrifty because we’re not billionaires. And not being billionaires, we have a limit to our resources, even when we’re using it well. So we’re tempted sometime to think that we can’t do it with the resources we have been given — but we can. Not only that, but we can often do it on less.
    Believe in yourself.

Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform
you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog soon but
I’m having a tough time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something
completely unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

  • homemade headboards March 20,

Headboards add impact, visual interest and luxury to a room, letting you
store decorative knick-knacks around your bed. You can find plywood
at any home improvement store. Starting from the middle of the top start stapling it to the back of the plywood pulling
    it tightly as you go.
