You read the blog. You’ve read through my Beginner’s Guide to Coupon series. You still don’t get it. Maybe you watched TLC’s Extreme Couponing or Extreme Couponing All Stars and now are ready to start saving money on your grocery bill. You wish you could attend a workshop, but Florida is far, far away.

If so, than an online class might be for you:

The LWSL Beginner’s Guide to Coupons Online Course is a six-week class that will start with the very basics of extreme couponing–getting organized–and then move on learning how to use coupons to begin saving 50% or more off your grocery bill. It will also cover building a stockpile and learning how to shop the drugstores.

The class is facilitated through Growth Education. Each week your lesson & assignment will be available online, and will feature exclusive videos in addition to the class text, as well as access to a class Skype chat room where you will be able to ask questions of me and other class participants. All in all, it should be a lot of fun!

I am very interested in taking this class and look forward to learning about dates and availability. I just don’t get couponing. In fact, I spent $50 over my food budget just today! How depressing. I know your class will help!

Hi Ruth! Thank you sooo much for your wonderful site. I have fallen on hard times (as many others have, I’m sure) and I’ve recently had to apply for food stamps (which I hope not to stay on for long) my question to you is this: Are we able to use the coupons when we are purchasing the food with food stamps? I have read your entire site, and have not had anyone ask this question. Thank you for your time!

I live in Ohio and actually work with Medicaid. I am also a begining couponer. In Ohio, You can use coupons on your purchases of food because the food stamp card is legal tender. Even though it has restrictions on what can be purchased it is still no different then your debit card with the exception of no cash back. Good luck maximizing your food stamp allotment.

Hello Ruth, My name is Danielle. I am from Vt. I am also VERY interested in your online course. I recently printed The LWSL Beginner’s Guide to Coupons. I’ve began collecting coupons and have a baseball card binder all set to be filled. I watch Extreme Couponing and still am having a hard time figuring out how to get established. I need to learn how to shop and save. along with understanding coupons, and getting my own system down. Like many others times are hard!! PLEASE let me know when your classes are available.
