Another week–and month–down. Where does the time go? Thank you so much to everyone who linked up at Thrifty Thursday this week. If you haven’t had a chance, be sure to check out all of the fabulous recipes, projects, & tips on this week’s Thrifty Thursday post. It was SO hard to pick my favorites this week, but without further ado, here were (just a few of) the things I loved:
* * *
First of all, I am pretty much obsessed with the idea of having chickens, which is currently not an option in our deed restricted community. Until we can find a place in the country, I am simply insanely jealous of living vicariously through anyone who does have them. I absolutely LOVED this swing set turned chicken coop from His Mercy is New!
I was totally intrigued by this Natural Garden Pest Spray from My Sister’s Pantry. Husband and I have had almost no luck with our attempts at gardening thus far, and one of our biggest problems is BUGS! I can’t wait to try this recipe on our next go-round.
Love, love, LOVE this DIY Upholstered Wingback Chair from Lovely Little Life. SO pretty! Upholstering totally scares me, but she almost makes me believe I could do it too!
Loved these great tips on how to remove cooked on grease from Angela Says!
This Pottery Barn-inspired Raleigh Headboard Frame How To from I Dream of Jeanne is insanely beautiful. She did SUCH an amazing job! I am ready to throw out my old bed right now and get going on this one!
These Parmesan Wonton Chips from Essentially Eclectic looked delicious. I’m pretty sure I would eat the whole plate if I made those right now.
How CUTE are these darling Mickey Mouse Oreos from Busy Mom’s Helper? What a great idea for a Disney or Mickey themed birthday party!!
I actually wanted to lick my screen when I saw this Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie from Real Food Enthusiast. Chocolate, bananas, & peanut butter? Yes please!
And speaking of peanut butter, did you know you could make it yourself? I am dying to try this homemade peanut butter recipe from Pounds 4 Pennies. YUM!
This tutorial for How to Slipcover an Ikea Chair from Just the Bees Knees was fantastic, as was her entire little boy’s room makeover. (A dinosaur/baseball theme? I die!) Sheer perfection.
I absolutely loved these tips for 8 Ways to Afford Name Brand Clothes on a Tight Budget from Life Your Way.
And finally, I loved the simplicity of this sweet Brown Paper Bag Basket from Simple Joys.
