What would you do if fear no longer stood in your way?

Because, at the end of the day, the only thing stopping most of us from pursuing and accomplishing some BIG dreams is fear.

Believe me I know.

For so much of my life, I’ve had to push through fear–the fear of not being good enough, of not being capable enough, the fear of what other people might think of me, the fear of being rejected, and the fear of making a mistake.   For a long time, I was afraid to go after my goals and create the life I wanted because I was afraid to fail.

But over the years, what I’ve learned is that courage is like a muscle–the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets.  And really, courage is simply just action in the face of fear.

And that is exactly why I am inviting you to join me on the Do It Scared™ Podcast.

Equal parts inspirational and practical, his brand new podcast was created to help you face your fears, overcome adversity, and create a life you LOVE. Here at Living Well Spending Less®, we talk a lot about how to spend less time and money on all the things we have to do in order to create more time and money for the things we really want to do. Consider Do It Scared®  the evolution of what we talk about here on the blog.

With that in mind, here are 3 reasons you should subscribe:

1. The Do It Scared™ Podcast is for you.

I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t feel scared or uncertain in at least one area of their life.   As women, especially, we get caught up in trying to juggle all the pieces of our busy life, of trying to keep up and do it all, and we are often afraid of putting boundaries in our life, or of letting something drop while we go after the things we really want.

Sometimes it is almost as if despite your best efforts to be more organized and create a life with less overwhelm, you still feel like your life is out of whack and unbalanced. But maybe that’s because the real issue is you feel this way because you haven’t found something you are super passionate about–a dream that’s worth going all in and pursuing.

Simply put, this podcast is for any woman who is frustrated and wants more.

love our family and don’t regret a single sacrifice you’ve had to make. But you sense there’s more to your purpose and meaning in life than the everyday routine that leaves you feeling ragged.

You’ve spent years putting everyone’s needs above your own, whether it’s caring for the kids, creating a home, chauffeuring everyone to All. The. Things.

… but never truly pursued your own passions.

You may not even be able to identify your passion anymore.

I know what this feels like, because I was there once.  And that’s what brings me to reason #2….

2. You’ll discover the role fear has played a role in your life and how to change it.

After a long and painful period of soul-searching in my own life, I discovered at the surface for my lack of passion and drive was FEAR. Fear that if I took a risk to pursue something for myself, that I would fail. And deep down, I wondered if I was worthy to even try.

I decided I was, and that even though I had fear, I didn’t have to let it stop me. I began to live by the mantra: Do it Scared™.

Over time, it evolved from a personal motto, to a company value, and now, my life message.

As I began sharing the idea, at both of my companies: Living Well Spending Less® and Elite Blog Academy®, I realized that it was an idea that didn’t just resonate with me or my team, but with people everywhere.

I want to assure other women like myself that what they are feeling is normal. The courage you need to take action is available to you, and if you need permission to make a change, I’ll be more than happy to be that voice for you.

3. The Do It Scared™ Podcast is an easy, quick way to help you break free from limiting mindsets and grow.

This podcast is equal parts inspiration and tough love, complete with practical, easy-to-implement tips and interviews with some incredible authors, influencers, and women who have dared to do it scared in their own lives.

It’s going to be motivating and encouraging, and most importantly, it will hopefully spur you to take action in your own life.

Here’s an overview of the first three episodes, which are available right now in iTunes! Subscribe here.

In this first episode, I talk about setting the kind of goals that scare you to death but can also change your life. I give the background story on where Do it Scared™ came from, and the impact it’s had on my life.

I even have a fun worksheet you can download to help you implement what you discover on the episode in your own life.
