Happy September!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved September.  As a kid, it meant the promise of a new school year, a new teacher, new subjects, new school supplies, and a whole new chance to start over.  It also meant cooler weather, leaves changing color, and the feeling that anything was possible. And while I’m definitely not a kid anymore, there’s a part of me that still feels the exact same way—like September is my chance to start anew, to create new routines, and to get back on track.

There’s just a renewed energy in the air, and I love it.

And that’s exactly why September at LWSL is all about energizing your life, from all the different angles.  Our articles this month are focused on finding ways to recharge your rooms, your menu, your budget and your routine so that you can feel more productive and less overwhelmed.

Here’s the breakdown of what you’ll find in this month’s issue:

HOME 101

Be sure check out our Instant Fixes for Every Room in Your Home (That Won’t Cost a Bundle), then freshen up your most-used spaces with help from our Budget Friendly Home Decorating Resource Guide and our guide to How to Always Keep Your Car Clean(Yes, it’s really possible!).  And if you need a little wardrobe boost, don’t miss 10 Ways to Style a White T Shirt.

This month’s recipes are centered around energy-boosting foods, which you can read all about in Supercharge Your Meals: 8 Foods That Will Give You More Energy Right Now (And How to Add Them to Your Menu).  You definitely won’t want to miss our Maple Glazed Sheet Pan Salmon with Potatoes and Green Beans or our easy 4 ingredient PB& J Energy Bites, and both our Spinach & Sausage One Pot Pasta or our Bloomin’ Apple are sure to be a hit!

On the money front, we’ve got some great advice for recharging your budget, starting with The #1 Way to Save Money(It’s not what you think!). We’ve also got some practical tips for How to Leave the 9-5 Behind, as well as How to Break Out of Your Financial Slump & Make Your Money Work For You.  Finally, if you’ve ever wondered when it’s okay to spend a little more, and when you should cut back, you want to miss Go Ahead and Splurge! 7 Times You Should Indulge (Without Feeling Guilty).

This month’s Life section is all about living a happier, more fulfilling life, starting with How to Feel Happier Instantly (12 Surefire Ways to Improve Your Mood Right Now) and Better Ways to Boost Your Energy (Even When You’ve Tried it All).  If you’re in need of direction, you’ll definitely want to check out Do You Need a Life Coach? 6 Signs You’re Ready (and 3 You’re Not), and if you’re hoping to better manage your time this fall, definitely don’t miss The 3 Most Common Planner Fails (and How to Fix Them).
