Ingredients
2tablespoonsolive oil
6tablespoonsbutter
1bag matchstick carrots
6-8green onions
1head broccoli
1bunch fresh sagestems removed
112 oz.box bow tie pasta
1lemonjuiced
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/4teaspoonpepper
1/2cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Chop green onions and broccoli into small bite size pieces and set aside. Bring water to a boil in large pot.
Melt 4 tablespoons butter with olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add carrots and broccoli; cook until slightly soft, about 5-6 minutes. Add green onions and sage, stirring until lightly brown, approximately 7-8 minutes longer.
Cook pasta according to directions.
Cut lemon in half; squeeze juice into melted butter, then add salt and pepper; set aside.
Drain pasta and return to pot. Mix in vegetables, then toss well with lemon butter mixture. Mix in Parmesan cheese; serve immediately and enjoy.
