Ingredients

  • 3 lbs apples (cored and peeled)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and core apples, then add sliced apples to Instant Pot.

  2. Then add the cinnamon and water over the apples.

  3. Secure lid and cook on high pressure for 7 minutes.

  4. When time is up, let the Instant Pot do a natural release for 3 minutes then do quick release. Apples will be soft.

  5. Then quickly mash with a potato masher.

  6. Enjoy warm or let cool then place in an airtight container and keep in fridge for up to a week.

Recipe Notes

I used a combination of Pink Ladies and Red Delicious apples. Apple Sauce will keep in fridge for a week.
