Pb & J Energy Bites

All you need is four ingredients to create this simple and fun energy bite recipe that just happens to be nut-free and completely school-friendly!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup SunButter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup dried strawberries

Instructions

  1. On a small cutting board, chop dried strawberries into small bits.

  2. Add all four ingredients to a large bowl.

  3. Stir until well combined.

  4. Take a spoonful of the energy bite mixture and form into a ball. You should end up with 25-30 balls or bites of energy. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.

SunButter, made with sunflower seeds, and can replace traditional nut butter in recipes.
