Honey Sriracha Chicken

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Sriracha sauce more or less to taste!
  • 3-4 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • red pepper flakes optional; for cooking day only
  • cooked rice optional; for cooking day only

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, whisk together olive oil, chicken broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, and Sriracha.
  2. Divide chicken into 2 gallon size freezer bags (be sure to label bags first!). Then divide mixture into bags over chicken; freeze until needed.
  3. On cooking day, place frozen contents of bag directly into crockpot. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8 hours. 

  4. Serve over rice and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
