Creamy Ranch Chicken

It’s no secret that we LOVE quick & easy freezer meals around here, especially ones that use budget-friendly chicken! Believe it or not, this tender, juicy, flavor-packed Creamy Ranch Chicken might just be our easiest recipe yet. It’s got just 5 basic ingredients, whips up in minutes, then goes straight from the freezer to the crockpot to the table, all while tasting like you spent hours slaving away in the kitchen!

To make it as part of a freezer cooking day, just split the sauce & chicken into multiple bags, then throw it right into the freezer–no cooking required!

You can use any type of chicken but my family much prefers the boneless, skinless chicken thighs, which are a darker, juicier meat and also tend to be cheaper than the boneless skinless breasts.

  • Did I do something wrong? Tastes fine but mine looks a little curdled, but yours doesn't look curdled at all. I'm considering adding the sour cream at the end next time?

  • Yum! I have it in the crock pot now! I love easy freezer recipes!

  • I've done this same recipe with pork chops that turn out pretty yummy! And I think there was a similar one using Italian dressing, too :) I like to do baby potatoes with it. Might be time to get the crockpot out again! :D Thanks for sharing!

  • I love how you make this recipe for use today or a freezer meal. Making more slow cooker and freezer meals are totally on my agenda for not only my blog but just to make my life easier with my family!

  • This looks like such an easy dinner to make but is like a gourmet comfort food from Grandma's house. :)
I will definitely have to try this recipe at our house because we are big chicken eaters and I am always looking for new ways to make a chicken dinner.

    Thank you for the post!
