Easy Barbecue Pizza

There’s nothing better than a quick and easy recipe you can whip up out of the pantry staples you already have on hand, especially if you know that recipe will be one that your whole family will love!

And what more to love than two favorites–pizza and barbecue–rolled into one delicious (and ridiculously simple) meal?

Our delicious chicken pizza comes together in minutes with store bought dough, a rotisserie chicken and a few other simple ingredients for a no fuss meal. We even made a fun little video to prove how simple this meal is!

And here are the step by step instructions.

Here is what you need:

2 cups pulled chicken from a rotisserie
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce (we used Sweet Baby Ray’s)
1 cup frozen corn
1 8 oz bag Colby Monterey Jack cheese blend
store bought pizza dough
1 bunch green onions, chopped ( optional)

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees; Place pizza dough on greased pan and let it rise at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Once dough is ready, stretch it to the desired size.

Step 2: Brush on your barbecue sauce and cook in oven for about 10 minutes. Check the bottom of your dough. You want it to have a light golden color.

Step 3: Then mix your pulled chicken with about 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce and set aside.

Step 4: Take pizza out of oven and add pulled chicken, corn and cheese to pizza and finish in oven for another 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese has melted.

Step 5: Let cooked pizza rest for 2-3 minutes, then add green onions, slice and serve.

  • Can I use Fleischmans active Dry yeast original instead bc that’s what I have on hand, and if so, what do I do differently? Just follow the instructions on the package?
