  • Are you supposed to heat it up or eat it cold

    • You eat it cold with apple slices, graham crackers or vanilla wafers. It is so good.

  • Hi... If I make this up ahead of time for a potluck at work once I take it out of fridge should I heat it up or will it be OK

  • I crush vitamin Cin 1/4 water and sprinkle on apples to prevent browning.

  • I just had this at a Halloween party and it was absolutely fabulous!! I tracked the girl down who brought it to get the receipt. So YUMMY!

  • What is your best suggestion for treating apple slices so that they don’t brown before guests have a chance to eat them?

    • You can place your apples slices in pineapple juice. :)

  • If you read the recipe again, you will notice that it does say to add 1/2 c of the Heath Heath chips to the cream cheese.

  • Crushed peanuts would be a good addition on top, or in place of the Heath bars.

  • hey there made this last year for Christmas: Used apples and Pretzels to get the dip, was amazing! Thanks for sharing!

  • I made this for a World Series gathering. My friend "borrowed" the Fritos scoops from the chili dip to eat this with. We thought he was crazy until we tried it - EVERYONE LOVED IT! I'd recommend this dip - both with apples or with Fritos!

  • LOOKS FABULOUS - WILL MAKE FOR GET-TOGETHER ON CHRISTMAS EVE! GRAND DAUGHTER MADE IT FOR THANKSGIVING - LOVED IT !
